Over time, injuries to the skin can occur. The result may be more- or less-pronounced scars. For these, scar corrections of all kinds, including skin transplantations, can be performed.
In cases of increased production of sweat in the armpit that does not respond to botulinum toxin, the sweat glands can be surgically removed.
